Family SmartHub was a web and iOS app for organising family life. It had shared shopping lists, a weekly menu for planning what to cook and who would cook it, and a movie night schedule where each family member took turns picking the film, snacks and food.

It was one of our internal experiments, and our sandbox for App Store subscriptions, push notifications, Sign in with Apple and Google, and running a production service on Heroku. The app has since been retired, but what we learned building and running it still shapes how we work with apps today.
